Just got back from Old Quebec; we were so glad to have this guide! We could take tours at our own pace, and make discoveries as we went along. How charming to turn and see the cannonball at the base of the tree! We would have missed this if not for the step-by-step nature of this little guidebook that led us through the city and provided historical tidbits. Old Quebec is all about the back roads and the nooks and crannies. This book was the next best thing to having our own private tour guide, it really fleshed out our visit.

We live near Tacoma and have a motorhome that doesn't fit in many of the state and federal campgrounds in the Northwest. This newest Church book is very good at helping to find the right places for our rig. In a month, using their advice, we found three wonderful RV campgrounds that we didn't know about. One is next to a first class trout river and another is at an entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Maybe the best part is that this book is helping us re-discover where we can go without using a lot of fuel! This is a great book for those that have never been to the Northwest as well as those that live there. Buy it! You'll like it!

Say I just wanted to say, we loved your "Off the Beaten Path" British Columbia. Recently, my husband and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary and took a trip to British Columbia. And we used your book every step of the way and found there to be no errors within the contents (except a few increases in admission - and we called that life!). We even loved eating Halibut and Chips at Mad Trapper Neighborhood Pub. It's also thought it was funny we had taken several trips throughout the years and have never stopped at Marble Canyon wow I mean shout it out! Farley Mowat writes a moving story about how he met his wife Claire by accident while trying to escape a vicious dog, and, in doing so, also "kills two birds with one stone" by portraying the colorful, insular people of Newfoundland in the 1950's as well as the inhabitants of the almost unheard of French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon in the North Atlantic off the coast of St. John, NF. I would highly recommend this book to those who enjoy learning about new places and people, and at the same time would want to curl up with a well-written love story.
