We used the book while we were in Paris quite a bit to help with vocabulary. The CDs weren't the most useful part of the package and were a little boring. We all have some fluency with French. However, if you are completely new to the language, it may be good to hear the proper pronunciation.

This book was so valuable on our trip to Puerto Rico! It included a lot of information about hotels, restaurants, and activities. I would buy Fodor's for any vacation to any place!

I read every guide book on Maui that my library had to offer. I bought the two most helpful to me. This book is pretty good but it doesn't compare to MAUI REVEALED 4th edition. That book is stellar. That author isn't afraid to tell you which companies and which beaches to stay away from and why. This book sounds a lot like a brochure where every review is rosy. With these two books I was able to plan our trip right down to the doing nothing days. With two kids you need a plan. Since they have different takes on Maui and all that it has to offer it was worth getting both. Maui Revealed: The Ultimate Guidebook (Maui Revealed)
