I found this an absorbing, entertaining, very well executed lesbian romance. K.E. Lane is a skilled, thoughtful writer who generates here that most delicious of recreational reading pleasures: an erotic novel whose characters are drawn with care and whose attraction to one another is utterly convincing. Radclyffe keeps making it new and fresh. In this book leading up to 911 she brings in a new way to drive the story, hints. But not the whole story of the hints which makes you want to read more to see how it will all play out.

We know what happen that fateful day, but she finds a new way to twist into HER story a fictious story line that works really well. Bravo

Like S. Ward, I like yaoi novels, but this one was so wretched I threw it out. I wouldn't even give it away, no yaoi fan should be subjected to this tripe. Why did I hate it so? The uke was likeable enough, but the seme was emotionally abusive. He rapes the uke, then pursues him like a stalker, getting angry if he even smiles at others. Eventually he passionately professes his love--and then the next day he casually sleeps with a 14 year old. When the uke confronts him about this, not only is he not ashamed about it, he laughs in his face! This is one of hottest manlove books I've ever read. And it's not just M/M. It's M/M/M. Yes, *three* sexy men in love, having sheet-scorching sex...not to mention a sweet, tender, and surprisingly believable three-way relationship. A fireman, a doctor, and an EMT. It just doesn't get any hotter than that. When you do read it, make sure you have a bucket of ice and a change of clothes handy. Better yet, find your own sexy fireman or doctor to play with. :)

Okay, enough about the sex. The sex is insanely hot, but what really stands out to me is the chemistry and the realistic presentation of a working threesome of men. I found Fresh Tracks and any books by Georgia Beers to be like a breath of fresh air. This is about seven women who are likable, comfortable, have regular day-to-day experiences and are so "normal." No thrills or frills just plain folk. Characters you would run into at your local grocery store.

The first half of this book is wonderful. I loved the story of Tor and Jake, up until Tor cheats on Jake. That's where the book lost me.

4 years together and then wham. Jake wasn't "communicating" with Tor, so it turned him away. Uh uh, I'm not buying that story. He was horny and didn't think.

I'm sorry I wasted the money on this book. It would have been great.
