All I can say is I loved every single thing about this book. After the first few pages I was so engrossed in the story, I couldn't put it down! All the characters are so lovable. Even though they have their own serious issues, you can't help but want the best for them. W.A. Hoffman is a very talented writer and I'm so glad I discovered these books. JUST BUY THE BOOK!!! I PROMISE YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!

"Rainbow Boys" is a novel that excels at character development, telling its story through the eyes of three gay teens--Jason, Kyle and Nelson. All three are coming of age in their senior year of high school and coping with their sexual orientation in very different ways, ranging from open and defiant to closeted and in denial. Their stories intertwine, and each has not just high school to traverse but unique family difficulties to overcome. All three characters are eminently likable, and it's easy to sympathize with their plights. And their stories and travails are genuine and real. Being that I am a gay man in SA; a sex addiction recovery program as well as having over 20 yrs sobriety in AA I am no slouch in terms of recognizing when something this informative and compelling arrives on the scene. I found this book to cover most of the tools and information that I have gleaned over the years in one concise presentation, I like the way that it is presentled in a non-pretentious sort of way that I occasionally find in this type of book, where someone writes about that which they have no personal experience. Thank you for inspiring presentation.

This is a book by Freddie's personal assisant who lived right along side him. Almost as good as being there yourself. As far as a Freddie a biography this is at the top of the list along with Mercury and Me by Jim Hutton. It's good great pictures too. I highly recommend this book and I like to think of myself as a Freddie connoisseur. Can you ever really get enough Freddie stuff. I think not.

Two stereotypes get it on: a huge, hairy, hunky, extroverted, alpha male construction company owner named Bram falls hard for a slight, pretty, feisty, introverted architect named James.

Each has some issues, but they are remarkably honest (for the most part), do an unusually good job of communicating for guys who have just met each other, and, maybe most importantly, they have some mind-bogglingly hot sex! Each takes great care to be caring and kind with the other and gives the other wonderful and largely unselfish loving. Each offered to give the other anything his lover wanted. Worth the time. The author has certainly survived and thrived and what the reader gets is a very very funny story, that is poignant at times. I laughed out loud, often. Being from the south I can relate to many of the situations!
