The small size makes it easy to slip into a purse or pocket, and the fold-out maps in each cover make getting around easy. It even has a little flip-up compass in the spine, so if you get turned around on city streets you can quickly orient yourself again. .Insideout San Francisco City Guide: Popout Map (Insideout City Guide: San Francisco) City Travel Guides > Books > InsideOut Guides by: Compass Maps 2003-05 A friend of mine had this guide for NYC during a trip together and I loved it! Before traveling to San Francisco I decided to get it as it is very easy to use and has everything you need! I traveled by myself and I did get lost once but it was my own fault. With the attached compass is very easy to find your way, specially when the guide even has bus routes! By following the guide I was able to enjoy most major attractions in only 3 days! It also comes with a pen and a light in case you find yourself in need of those.
