First, the good news. This book does contain plenty of useful information. If you're looking for a guide that focuses on Boulder, Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park (as opposed to a general Colorado book), it may be worth getting.

Now, the bad news: this book will not actually help you find any of the attractions that the authors describe. For some mysterious reason, they did not seem to consider that it might be useful to include some maps showing where everything is.

The book has a grand total of two (2) maps: a very general highway map of the Denver area, and a very general major-street map of Boulder. Neither has a key to any of the hotels, restaurants, shops or attractions mentioned in the book. I ... Read More:

I have lived in Triangle since 1991. Book was a very good background book but is very out of date now. It needs updated based on the growth of the last several years. Some areas can go for years without updates but not this area.

This is the 11th edition of this book on all info that is the Florida Keys and the glorious Key West. I have the 10th edition and only out of laziness did not return this one.

I frequent Key West often and many changes that have taken place there at guesthouses or restaurants are not documented in the least. The book is basically a word for word of the last edition. One restaurant moved locations over a year ago and they still have it as listed at the old location.

Key West is a beautiful, eccentric place and all walks of life mingle together here in a virtual paradise. It is very liberal and the authors are definitely very conservative. The reviews are definitely written with their bias.
