They are much too basic. If you want to study for a couple weeks and just get familiar with the test, then these are fine. However, you won't do your best if you rely simply on these general books. I recommend the following: Introduction to the test: Look at the free stuff from LSAC Logic Games: Read the book "Ace the LSAT Logic Games", by Get Prepped. Logical Reasoning: read the book "LSAT Logical Reasoning Bible", by Power Score. Those who dislike it seem to be expecting a book about the legal profession, when in fact it's simply about him. He just happens to be stuck in the legal profession, but one could easily swap in investment banking or any other office job and have the same experience. Anyone who has ever worked in an office can identify with the characters that drive him nuts, just as any of us who are creative, independent, and adventurous can identify with his desire to make every moment outside the office count. He mentions a 3-to-1 ratio of hours spent working to hours free on the weekend and the need to make those weekend hours "superhours" - so that they count triple. We should all live like ... Snoe 2004-05 I have the 2001 edition (first?) and it was very helpful in getting me through my real property class in law school. I've also been using it to help me during bar review, and it's been a godsend in getting me through covenants & equitable servitudes. I would assume the newer edition is even better. I found it to be a very honest, emotional, and raw account of her life. I am just amazed at how she could overcome all of the things that she went through. I actually really liked the casebook (what can I say; the occasional interjections of bitter self-awareness really lightened up what could have otherwise been an intolerably ponderous subject), but found it to be simply too dense at times, especially in those areas of property that collide unpleasantly with reality. Future Interests, for example, is a notoriously difficult subject to grasp, and I found the D/K casebook's approach to be a little too historical and a little too rich... ...making this outline exactly what I needed.
