Note that this map covers the area west of Saumur / Tours. You will not find Chambord, Chaumont, Chenonceau, Blois etc. on this map. If you are looking for the castles of the central Loire Valley, you will need Michelin Map 518.
This map works well with the Michelin Guide Chateaux of the Loire.

I have bought the guides for SF, NY, Vegas, and LA. While the ones for most of the cities are very good, I think the LA one disappoints. I know that LA has many more restaurants that could have made the guide. Perhaps not starred, but better than many of the non-starred selections in the guide. I realize that a big portion of the problem is that the scale of LA makes it hard to cover, but some effort should have been made to be more comprehensive prior to publication.

Michelin crams an astonishing quantity of information into its tall and narrow Green Guides, which fit perfectly into a purse or camera bag. Michelin's traditional black-and-white etchings have been replaced by color photo in this new Venice book, but the maps, building plans, and descriptions are up to the company's high standards. The alphabetical organization of sights and monuments is handy for those who don't like the structured "walking tour" approach.

I just returned from a road trip through southern Italy. This map was excellent for finding the small towns and roads.Great for pointing out elevations, specific mountains and sites and gives a good idea of the topography. However, we did find an additional map (AAA map of Italy) to be a vital compliment. It points out major roads more clearly, indicates service areas and inserts of city maps of Rome and Naples. And it's free to AAA members! I suggest you have both.

This Michelin guide to Las Vegas is the worst guide of any city I have ever bought. I have a complete collection of more than 50 Michelin guides, mostly of european countries and cities and they are great, very detailed with precise indications and a through research.

This guide is nothing like those. It is very thin, for every hotel there's just a little paragraph and a photo, same thing for restaurants. This is a complete waste of money.

How can you describe all the amenities of monster hotels like the MGM Grand, the Bellagio or the venetian in 10 lines? They don't even compare room amenities or features of each hotel.

Same thing goes for the restaurants, the european guides tell you which are the best ... Read More:
