I have found this book to be full of great information! I look forward to utilizing it while we are in Vegas to do things that we normally wouldn't know about or would be less likely to find. Sometimes it's hard to remember where you read about something but I'm excited about checking out some of things I've found while reading the guide.

As already stated by the other reviewers, the DeLorme atlas & gazetteer is fantastic. I love the many points-of-interest features which other map products lack.

But if you're going to buy one, don't get this 2005 edition, go find the 2008 edition (such as on DeLorme's website). In addition to the road updates, the new one has GPS coordinates and more topographical info. I'm a little disappointed that Amazon doesn't have it available yet, when it's been out since early this year.

This was an excellent guide for people who have never been to Arizona. You can't get lost with it. The way it's organized makes it easy to read. You can go directly to the section you need without wasting time flipping the pages.

This book is a great guide on how to get the most of of a visit to Seattle. Why visit a new city or place without knowing what to see? We always have limited time and money and so having a great guide is a must. Frommer's Seattle hits on all cylinders and I was very glad to have investing in it before visiting the wonderful city of Seattle.

Easy to read, easy to find stuff, tips on how to get the most our of even short visits. Not a lot of fluff.

I saw this book at the library, and when I saw how inexpensive it was, decided that I wanted it for myself. Very informative, and detailed information with specific statistics on population, education, cultural and demographical information. If you are even thinking about a move, this is an excellent reference tool.

The authors have golden tastebuds. I completely agree with their ratings of many restaurants. I also thought their ratings of various attractions were accurate.

I read this book to learn more about goat cheeses (which I have recently grown to love) and not only learned more about them, but about the passion that goes into their production. This book is about people with true love for what they have decided to do. It is a pleasure to read and I can't wait to get to the market and sort through the goat cheeses again, now with a little more knowledge of not just how they taste and how are produced, but the beauty of the animals and people responsible for them. Who knew a book about cheese could lead you to both laugh and cry!

I travel to San Francisco once or twice a year to get away from LA. Saw the book on Amazon and figured it would probably be a humorous read but didn't really expect any practical advice. To my surprise it was actually both. It's a smart funny read but it also REALLY DOES have the low down on free food, fun, and frolicking. My boyfriend and I went up a few weeks ago and planned the whole weekend using the book. Found plenty of art, parks, and music to keep us busy and hit some cheap and/or free happy hours and food joints. Probably the most fun I've had in the City and definitely the least expensive weekend ever! Thanks for the tips. Much appreciated!!
