.Berkeley Guides: Paris: On the Loose, On the Cheap, Off the Beaten Path (On the Loose in Paris) City Travel Guides > Books > Off the Beaten Path by: Fodor's November 26, 1996 I have lived in Paris for over two years, but this guide remains my favorite for restaurant ideas, bars, cafés, and days I just want to change my neighborhood. While prices are in francs, and some of the stuff about bar and club trends is a bit dated, it's still the best resource I've found besides word-of-mouth for how to see the City of Lights on a budget. .Maryland and Delaware Off the Beaten Path: A Guide to Unique Places City Travel Guides > Books > Off the Beaten Path by: Judy Colbert July 01, 1999 There are a few things wrong with this book and title. First, a two hundred page book on Maryland and Delaware only has 29 pages on Delaware. There are 32 pages on Greater Washington (like there is much off the beaten path here). Next is some of the Off the Beaten Path palces covered are such unheard of places as - BWI Airport, US Naval Academy, Camden Yards, Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Delaware Art Museum and Dover Air Force Base. That last one is where you can see the C5A cargo planes that according to the book each plane "is big enough to hold several football fields". Now that is a unique plane! Much of this book seems little more then the author collected those flyiers from the card racks found at most hotels. While there are some unique ... .Fodor's The Carolinas and Georgia, 15th Edition: The Guide for All Budgets, Where to Stay, Eat, and Explore On and Off the Beaten Path (Fodor's Gold Guides) City Travel Guides > Books > Off the Beaten Path by: Fodor's January 07, 2003 This guide offers information and other important details of the area but lacks any real depth as far as the "Off the Beaten Path" stuff goes.If you need a quick list of restaurants or hotels it is good.
