I bought this book because my life partner stated repeatedly that the OP and he were "just friends." I wanted to believe him so I kept ignoring all the signs that Dr. Glass discusses. Dr. Glass was relevant and insightful. The book is 425 pages but is a read quick. Before I discovered that my life partner was having an affair and that my best girl friend's husband was having an affair, I had no idea how rampant infidelity is. "Good people in good marriages are having affairs." Its amazing how our society condones the easy thing ---an affair. Obviously written by a new Author. The amount repetition in this book can become overwhelmingly irritating. The information it does give is certainly worth knowing, and is why I gave the book two stars.

This book did a perfect job for me when I was a boy. And I'm buying it to hand to my sons. Those who say it was too graphic are simply WAY too uptight. It is tasteful and honest. It did the job for me that my parents couldn't do.

This book is everything you hope...and more! Amy Butler is known for her beautiful fabric and fresh ideas but I have a stack of her books on my shelf that I have loved to look at, but have never been inspired to make something from immediately. This book is the complete opposite! Each project is one that you will really want to make and is full of patterns, not just ideas. The projects themselves are unique and are not basic items that you could figure out on your own. I made the soft book for a baby shower gift and it was a huge hit! The kimono pj's are next on my list. You will love this book!

This book is great. I now realize what my problem was when I was younger. Everything is finally making sense. It is a great book for people that have ADD people as friends, family and partners to learn what the life is like for a person dealing with ADD.

We have found this resource wonderful. There's more in this book than I could have asked for gardening, preserving, how to chop would, how to make tools... Our 10 year old son enjoys reading it too and learning about how to really make items that he would use. We were looking for a resource to help us "survive" if need be on our own, also we were looking for items that were more cost effective in this hard economy. Great resource!
