The most thorough book I've seen. Arnold Schwarzenegger did a remarkable job covering any aspect of bodybuilding. From the different exercises, programs and nutrition to the most subtle topics. I read a few other books and this book is definitely the best one I read so far - VERY RECOMMENDED!

Through my years of nursing school, the NCLEX exam grew to be a scary bugaboo that loomed after graduation. Out of fear, I purchased assorted NCLEX manuals, cards, and software to help me prepare. Regardless, my anxiety level was high. When a casual friend mentioned Kaplan's NCLEX-RN, I decided to allocate scant resources for yet another NCLEX manual. Happy Day! This book is different. It teaches Test Strategy. I learned techniques to calmly sift through alternatives and arrive at correct answers. On 'test day,' I walked into the exam area confident and relaxed. In less than one hour, I walked out the same way. The computer ended the exam after the minimum number of questions. PASSING SCORE! Thank You, Kaplan.

The Truth About you is a book, well a workbook, aimed at people earlier in their career who are looking to learn their strengths to tailor their career path. It's packed full with tools to help you take control of your career and your performance, and I can see how these would be helpful for someone later in his/her career that's looking for more self discovery.

It will help you answer questions like this one: What are supposed to do with your life? The workbook includes a DVD and some other tools that are helpful for when you engage in the process.

I also recommend The Emotional Intelligence Quick Book if your into self discovery. A friend gave it to me this week and I finished it in two days.

BE WARNED THIS BOOK IS NOT COMPRHENSIVE IT DOES NOT CONTAIN EVERYTING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR THE MATH. I went throught this book thinking im good with math, but when i opened the kaplan premier program (another study guide book I bought)to my surprise there was a whole new section of math that the workbook did not cover such as standard deviation,compound interest, simple interest, permutations, combinations,weight average,new average with deletion,orginal average to find what what has been deleted,sequence. Thse are just a few things not covered in the math workbook.

This book is by far the best book I've ever read on balancing your work and home life, especially if you struggle with procrastination and/or perfectionism.

That's a strong statement, but I've read lots of book on personal self-management and how to organize your time effectively (including "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey and "Getting Things Done" by David Allen) -- and I can honestly say that, for me at least, "The Now Habit" is - by far - the best out of all of them.

There are definitely better books for understanding how to take the LSAT, but this book is a great follow-up because it lets you get a feel for a lot of different types of questions, as well as timed practice for the real test. I would definitely suggest using this along with a different stuty guide to prep for the LSAT.

Tufte's book is a very fine book on data graphics.

Although this book gives a lot of simple advice on how to effectively communicate quantitative information, it is not just a recipe-like book, as it also makes you think about a data graphic as something that is telling a story with numbers.

Beware that not all advice given is easily applied using common office suites. This is by no means a problem with the book, it is just that the text is not at all software-oriented. In fact, you may start to see the limitations in the office suites themselves. So, for those who just want some fast rules to use in their favorite software, this book may not be enough, or even the most recommended one. For all other readers, I highly recommend it.
