There are many statistics books out there, but this one really stands out. The style is extremely clear, the examples pertinent and the author constantly brings the reader to the basics, no non-sense, showing why and how particular items are important. Practitioners will find this book especially useful since it deals mainly with statistical inference (tests) and gives a great amount of real life examples.

The experienced statistician should stay away (if looking for an advanced textbook) since this book does not go into deep mathematical or theoretical details (the necessary minimum is provided).

A quick peek at the toc gives a reliable idea of its content.

The authors of this book give a more realistic approach on how to join the ranks of America's wealthy. Always live well below your means is one of the rules. There are others. The authors discover that most of the wealthy households were not located in upscale neighborhoods. These people also drove ordinary cars, work the right jobs and dont dine out as much. These people are in complete opposites to the households in posh neighborhoods that have little real wealth and are consumers with minimal savings and investments. This is a must read for the consumptive types.

A great book;written in a instructional manual style. Everyone I know who has seen or read the book loves it. The recored attacks throughout history at the end of the book is also entertaining. Absolutely great book in great condition. Only thing that was unexpected, was that the paperback was definately not as complete as the hard cover book and I really wanted (and needed) everything the hard cover book had. I guess there's no way to know that until you receive the book. But the book came within a couple of days of my ordering it and everything else was great!

This 2009 SAT book that i bought about a month ago, has been exteremely helpful! I'm a freshman high school, but wanted a head start on studying for the SAT, thus my parents purchased this latest edition SAT book. I honestly thought it would be boring, but the makers of the book make it very fun! They explain everything with easy step-by-step instructions without the use of big words, and they have coordinating pictures. The pages are perfect for you to write on them. Overall, you won't find this latest SAT book that is out for this low of a price. I wuold suggest buying ASAP because it's going to really give you a big start on your future.

I have to second all the college graduates here singing the praises of this little pocket guide! The guide covers every major documentation school of thought - and several minor ones that I was unaware of prior to the purchase of this guide. The documentation covers every possible occurrence - from the banal One-Book-One-Author to online pages, spoken conversations, e-mail communication, taped interviews, and on and on.

Many of these occurrences I could not even find documentation guidelines online, let alone in my college texts. The documentation guidelines also provide lucid and useful examples.
