They weren't too erotic (which can be a turn off for some) and they helped me out of a "dry spell". The stories were told so well and kept me spellbound, a nice little escape from reality. I look forward to reading more of Nancy Madore's novels. I did get a chance to read "The Twelve Dancing Princesses". It takes a mind set to ignore the preposterous plot lines, but it is worth it for fun, light reading. .Scent of Darkness (Darkness Chosen, Book 1) City Travel Guides > Books > Romance by: Christina Dodd July 03, 2007 I couldn't put this book down! I loved the characters of Jasha and Ann. Fell head over heels in love with Jasha. What a MAN/WOLF!! I found parts highly erotic to the point where I had to put the book aside to just take a breath. My heart raced throughout the novel. I loved the repartee between Jasha and Ann and enjoyed the squabbling between the siblings. Especially between Jasha and Rarik. Dodd outdid herself with these books. I've read other books of hers and so far this one (along with the second in the series) are her best. .Touch of Darkness (Darkness Chosen, Book 2) City Travel Guides > Books > Romance by: Christina Dodd August 07, 2007 Once again Dodd out did herself. I liked this book just as much as the first one. The sexual tension between Rarik and Tasya was palpable. In the second novel Rarik has more control over his ability to shift into hawk form that Jasha did into wolf. Rarik isn't as intense as his elder brother but there is a scene on a train that had my heart racing to the point that once again I had to put the book aside and catch my breath. Like the first book it took me a whole day to read it. I simply couldn't put it down and couldn't help be annoyed when I was interrupted by every day life. A WONDERFUL series thus far.
