.Customs & Etiquette of Turkey (Simple Guides Customs and Etiquette) City Travel Guides > Books > Simple Guide by: David Shankland October 30, 2006 I'm reluctant to "trash" a book as inexpensive as this, but in fact, it's questionable whether it is worth even this low a price. Its 94 pages must contain at least 125 typos. I did not count them all but started looking to see if it averaged "one per page" and I found several pages with more than one. And most of the typos are the really careless kind that a simple spell checker would have accounted-- wrong letters, letters left out. You can figure out what the words are supposed ot be, but it's irritating. This is not criticizing the fact that the book is written in "English" English-- I'm not talking about typos caused by the occasional word that the Brits spell differently than the Americans.
