This book is great for those who really want to work hard and sculpt their body. It's great for beginners as well as those more advanced. His descriptions of the exercises are good, but it was lacking on the diet end of weight training. I would have liked to have seen more nutrition information.

This is truly an outstanding book about a great man. Even though I am a Redskins fan I REALLY enjoyed this book. A very inspiring book. The book covers the life of Coach Dungy from his childhood up through the Super Bowl victory by the Colts. In it are many stories of the challenges and joys he has faced during his life and how he has grown in Christ throughout. I recommend this book without reservation. A great read and a great message.

I'm an ancient, creaky registered nurse who works with an increasingly ancient, creaky population of inmates in a state prison. Not that inmates have ever been known to demonstrate poor judgement, bravado, or an overinflated sense of how to cope in a limited world, but STRETCHING is written in language they understand and has the best diagrams and instructions I have ever seen in a "How-to..." book about exercise. George Kimball absolutely nails one out of the park with this well researched book covering a time in Boxing that he lived through covering the sport.

Each fighter: Duran, Leonard, Hagler and Hearns are each given equal coverage and there is absolutely no bias or spin from the author. Given Kimball covered the Sport in Boston for the Herald, Hagler's backyard, this is VERY refreshing.

The book does what you hope it does, cover the nine fights that each of these four greats had against each other, but George adds so much more insight and background and PERSONAL perspective about the fighters and fights, that you are never bored or disappointed.

All Sports books should strive to be this great.

This book is great. It tells you basic needs for survival like how to find water, make shelter and purify water. It is just a great book. If you frequently travel to different places like jungles or forests and you want to know how to survive in the wild if you get lost, this is a good book to get.

This book was very interesting. Limiting it to 1,000 things is both a plus and a minus for it. On one hand, there are things excluded from the book that I felt should have been in there in some locations. On the other hand, limiting it to 1,000 things keeps the book from being too long and cumbersome. Overall, this book was an enjoyable read but when traveling, I would definitely couple it with your own research about interesting attractions in the locale you are visiting.
