I picked this book up because I was a bit intrigued by the synopsis on the inside cover. I was away for the weekend, and I figured that this would help get me through.
I devoured it in one sitting.
Once you start this book, it is nearly impossible to put it down. The plot is centered around a young girl's suicide tapes, in which she gives thirteen reasons why she took her life. The reasons center around thirteen different people with seemingly no connection whatsoever.
Clay, who receives the tapes, has no idea what he did that related to Hannah's suicide. Throughout the story, he finds out.

This is a completely thorough, easy to read book that will give you an understanding of what your anxious child is going through and how you can help. It explains exactly what anxiety is and what your child is going through. It also explains how to set goals to help your child through this very difficult time. No matter what type and severity of your child's anxiety, this is a must have book. My 8-year-old has a specific phobia (I didn't realize until I was reading this book) and we are currently working to help her deal with it. I have never reviewed a book but I feel so strongly that anyone who has a child with anxiety issues or knows someone who does, to GET THIS BOOK.

I used this book to prepare for the AP Psychology exam and was thrilled! I had never taken a psychology course before and thought it would be challenging to try to succeed on the exam to earn college credit. It was easy to read and the practice test questions were extremely similar to those on the actual exam. I was excited to hear that I received a 5 on my exam... and the only aid I used was this book! I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a solid book that contained just what I was looking for. It gives good tips on how to approach the graduate application process and contact professors. Then it goes into tips for writing a statement of purpose.

The Circle series have been one of my favorite series. I liked it even better than Harry Potter. I felt that Tamora made a great return with "The Will of the Empress", I loved it. This one was very disappointing. Evy is an irritating and boring character. I found it difficult to follow along as it got more boring and aggravating to read as the story just did not move along. It dragged. I sorry to say I could not finish it. I got to the end of chapter 20 when I couldn't take it anymore. Please, please, I hope the next one is better and gets back on track.

During the spring of my junior year in high school I took the SAT for the first time. My scores were a disaster... R-510 M-510 W-540!!! OMIGOD HOW THE F*** were these going to get me into NYU, my dream school. Over the summer I decided to study for the ACT which I heard was easier. I bought the princeton review book and the real act study guide and read it each book cover to cover. A friend suggested that i buy the sat math level 1 and 2 subjects test book as well to review my math. After a summer of constant study i took the test again and got E-28,M-32,R:29,S-30, and an Essay score of 10. for a composite score of 30! 4 months later i got into NYU early decision!!!
