Alas, Joss has used his tricks one too many times. Plot "surprises" he has used in everything from "BTVS" (TV) to "Serenity" to "Dr. Horrible" (which rocked regardless) appear here. His repeated attempts to invoke pathos are getting as old as the Vaudeville pie-in-the-face bit.

Joss, steal or invent some new twists before you write any more eps of "Dollhouse." And not to be harsh, but go back to TV and leave the crossover comic-book work to, say, Kevin Smith (the "Buffy Season 8" series is already lame, only a fifth or so of the way through the series!).

If you're an X-Men fan who's not a Joss fan, you'll love this book. If you're a Jossaholic who bought this simply because Joss wrote it, it's a case of been there, ... Read More:

This book was perfect for our son who just turned 10 and was starting puberty. It answered every single question he may have wanted to ask us but was too embarrassed or afraid. I would recommend this book to every mother/parent who has a son & would recommend that you read it first. Some of the content will be a review for your son - other content will be new!! I am so glad I found this book- it really explained what was happening to his body. Everthing from pimples, shaving, jock itch, etc.

This book has to be the most concise, straightforward review out there. I was a freshman when I took AP English online, and I know that without this book, I would not have gotten a 5 on the AP exam! The sample tests are realistic and great preparation for the actual exam. Simply put...the creators of this book have realized that AP review does not need to be lengthy or intimidating; it needs to be effective.

I strongly, strongly recommend CiffsAP for English Language and Composition! No other brand does it better!

Neil Gaiman's Sandman is a comic book + Literary genius + Great artwork + Stories from all over the world + much more. The absolute edition has new stories that were never before published. It's a visual and mental treat. If you are ever wondering whether to buy the TPB's or the absolute edition, I would suggest the Absolute edition - as all the original 75 stories from Sandman are collected in dust cover 4 volumes vs 12 TPB's. So price-wise it doesn't make a big difference. I have read this 3 times in the last 10 years and every time there is something new that I find.
